Osprey with a nice bluegill catch, from a few years ago at one of the local lakes.

    Thanks for looking.

    Hello,

also here a great moment, very dynamic pose and nice colours also.
these birds are one my favourites,
but its hard to catch them here in germany, only a few pairs are living in the north-east part of our country.

this are the type of pictures i wish to make from the ospreys...

    Tim:

Great catch of the bluegill, lower wing displays well. In perfect world, would prefer upper wing to be more open, to show it off better.

    Sharp, well exposed, nice eye.

    Cheers

Very nicer Tim. I like the BG very much and puts the bird to a place. Detail on the head and outstretched wing is great. The swirling water droplets on far RH edge is unique. My only very minor nit would be to lose the elongated water droplet near the fish's tail.

    A pleasure to view.

love the fish and the incoming pose Tim, I wonder if you can use a soft clone brush at 40% opacity to soften the strong shadow line on the body ?

Arash, I see what you mean, maybe a bit overdone it looks artificial to me and doesn't go with the other shadows on the bird.
Thanks for the suggestion though, I appreciate it.
