Here is an image of an elegant tern. In this behavior terns shake themselves after emerging from an unsuccessful dive, it's one of the more dynamic poses that's interesting to observe and capture

    Attachment 163736

    1DX 2, 400 DO II + 2X III. ISO 3200. f/8 at 1/2500sec. Hand held. processed with DPP 4.4

    hope you like it!

Hi Arash, neat capture, love the spray of the trailing water.

What was the Case settings if I may ask, i.e. TS, Acel/Decel, Auto pt worth knowing, not that my Owls get as energetic as this.

Love the patterns of the spray and the perfect image optimization. Is it a tern that is elegant or an Elegant Tern???

Arash, one of my favorite summertime subjects taken at my favorite local shooting area.
    Nice spray and BG.

Very nice looking image of an unusual flight pose. The spray of water adds so much.

You caught it at the perfect time, the water trail coming off the bill is great. Well done Arash
