Nice head on shot, great IQ and I like the BG with the water and vegetation. The bird is perfectly placed that the BG isn't cutting trough the body and I love the curled up wing tips. TFS.

Ditto all the plusses above. A contrast mask on the face would bring this up a notch by increasing the apparent sharpness.
