"Triple Play"

This is a trio of Cinnamon Teal that I captured during last years waterfowl workshop. I was very lucky to catch all three of them in the same focal plane as they came speeding in to the pond.
I was also very fortunate to have had this image win the finals in the "Natures Best - Windland Rice" competition and it was featured in their 20th anniversary edition publication. I hope you like it.

I am just beginning to get one bird in flight, sometimes two, but three Brilliant image David, you did real well here getting great detail and flying pose on the birds, not an easy task. I like the contrast it looks almost 3D effect on my screen

Capturing such clarity of both colour and focus on not one but three of the toughest targets there are for a BIF shooter is amazing David. I would love to have witnessed the performance of the hand-eye co-ordination it took to get this shot.
