    You've managed to capture good detail at both ends of the histogram here Will and a good balance of composition in the neck curves. It looks like you had plenty of sun right behind you so how do you get that lovely blackness of the water and BG? Hope this isn't a dumb question but is it something you create or is it just the way the lighting works there??

    Hi Bob Thanks for that. My small hide is on a corner of the loch which is surrounded by trees, sometimes the light hits it during late afternoon, early evening times, making the water look black. I had enough of the light cloud, covered, sun as it was going down.

    William, good job at getting the family in decent positions, nice light and detail, the dark BG really works here.

    Lovely scene and I like the bubbles too! I think you chose the best time of day the colours are really pleasing.
