Its that time of year again. Both these starting to bring their young to the garden so its fisty cuffs most of the time.
This is a jay seeing off a young G.S.Woody
The juvenile woody certainly stands its ground !!
Not pin sharp but all happens a bit quick and when you are set up for something else !----
Hide- Well the kitchen, leaning on the draining board, with a home made tripo. I have a new hide set up but the kitchen is more comfy and handy for the kettle.
Evening (dull light.) *** usual the odd blur of a passing blue tit removed.

A brief encounter well caught John, like the open mouths and aggressive body language.

Lovely image John. Love the facial expressions and detail on both birds. Great POV I would love to capture those 2 birds, especially together.

    Well done

    Cheers Will
They are getting stroppy looking for food which has about run out on the back of the stump. I use pastry mix and suet which is easy to smear in thin layers.
