    Levels. Tried to blur BG a little
    Slight crop
    Levels paint Shop Pro
    Few white feathers removed

    Lovely image of this elusive bird John. I like the feather detail and colours on the bird. One wee nit, and that is a faster shutter speed would have taken the motion blur away from the legs, especially the raised one. Fits well with the BG.

    maybe try sharpening a wee bit. or getting that ISO and shutter speed up .. Ive tried for these birds lots of time, but, never been successful. They always seem to lurk in the shadows up here And occasionally they would enter the water for a bath. So, prob like you, I was always changing my camera settings. This one looks good on that BG and I think it would be worth re processing
