Hey Tim,
Like the rest of the gang I love the fish and the water droplets. What species and where photographed? The color of the upper mandible and the bill pouch sure do not look like any Brown Pelican I have seen in SOCAL...
ps: a bit of Eye Doctor work would improve this image.

Hi Artie, yes this is in SOCAL, it is a brown pelican (as far as I know) starting to show some breeding colors.
