Photographed last week. A lumber company cleared a trench out of the forest near my folks' cottage recently. Unfortunate that many trees were taken, but nothing to do about that, and they did leave most of the forest on each side intact. Instead, looking positively, it created a perfect area for setup photography for warblers and other woodland species. A bit late for this season, but this fella was willing to pose nicely on top of a freshly growing mullein. Looking forward to testing out the area next spring :-)

Beautiful. The colours throughout the image fit perfectly. Cracking detail on the bird and perch. Sounds like a great place for bird photography.

Gorgeous lighting and detail, as always -- love the bright yellow head on an almost B/W body. Great pose and perch!
