Shows the feathers to perfection, Wally. Was a flash set up used? If so, how many?

Great detail in this. Would like to see a flower or part of one in the shot as it just seems to be floating. Just my taste.

Good job on getting the motion stopped, but the eye looks flat and dead to me and the lower parts of the bird look a bit over flashed.

Fantastic capture, sharp and nice BG. I am not sure about the angle of the right wing. Very well done!!

Lots of detail in the original .tiff file, as well, the body looks quite good and printed out great.

Love the fanned tail and the beautiful gorget Wally! I agree with Jim that it looks a tad overflashed. Thanks for posting!

Could very well be. One of the disadvantages of setting up flash for a target zone is that the subjects do not always cooperate. Or, more than likely, my PS skills still leave much to be desired.

Stunning flight pose with the fanned tail and excellent detail. It does appear slightly overflashed but a fantastic image and a definite winner.

Great to see the fanned tail and iridescence so well. I'm not sure if it is overflashed but it could go a tad darker.
