    Sweet light. Great bird and background. Were it mine ( and I wish it were since I don't have a good shot of this species), I'd consider taking a sliver off each side to make it a more conventional vertical format. But that's just a personal preference. Fine shot.

    Hi Mike,i'm not familiar with this little chap but you have a lovely take here of him,I don't know whether it was possible but a side step to the right might have just brought him a bit more inline with the back of camera,ahh kiddo i'm nit picking it's a beautiful image, is it a finch Michael?

    Beautiful bird in beautiful rich light. I like the singing pose too. Neat perch. Yes, moving to your right, if possible, would have brought both the light angle and subject's body angle more in line. Sharp where needed.

    Thanks! there was a stick in front of the bird, that overlapped when I moved more right. I removed it on the image. ~ MT

    Loverly light, bird, and singing pose. Yes to more to the right but am surprised that nobody mentioned higher if possible as it looks to me as if you were shooting up at the bird. I'd also like to see more room all around.
