    Another warbler frame from Magee Marsh in May. This was a particularly acrobatic warbler that I captured in a number of interesting frames. Had I had more light I'm sure I could have used a bit more DOF and SS, but I like the pose, and the perch.

    D7200, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 1600, 1/800s @ f/6.3 manual. Gitzo and Mongoose.

    Interesting pose indeed, and the perch looks like a "spring board" launching the warbler up! With that many leaves they could have been more distracting but they are all mostly well placed. Just the one just about touching the head that is a bit unfortunate. I agree with you in regards to SS as there is a bit of subject motion blur.

    Those warblers don't like to sit still for you! You did the right thing by pushing your ISO, but got unlucky with the bird's movement. Wish the head angle was better.
