    Exif: Canon 7D + Sigma 150-500mm at 500mm, f/6.3,iso - 1000, s.s. 1/160s,handheld, natural light and perch.(seem light should reduce slightly)

    The subject feeding on those flowers is very neat. I like how it is balancing back to show its belly. Yes, the image does seem light - toning down the midtones and/or the blacks would likely improve on that. You could also apply some NR to the background.

    Sharpest focus seems to be on the feet and the flowers. Yes to an neat bird and interesting behavior. After you pull down the curve you can apply a Contrast Mask to sharpen the face and eye a bit. LMK if you need help with that.
