    Not really a true macro with 700mm focal length, but alas, it is a "macro" subject. It was fun photographing this cooperative individual...I did slap on the macro lens and extension tubes afterwards for some neat close ups too.

    Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/200s., f/9, ISO 1600, fill-flash, handheld, full-frame.

    Like the composition (if mine I would add a bit of room around), details, light and color balance of BG and subject. Great shot.

    Simply gorgeous!! Everything is so sharp, with that secondary stem falling just enough OOF so as not to compete. Wonderful colors and tonalities. I love long focal length macro lenses!
