    Chris you are showing us some lovely plover shots,this one certainly pops from the bg of oof stones which works very well.Smashing feather detail and a good pose,very nice indeed.

    Great lighting non this one Chris- and a great backdrop too. Ours have all gone now their quarry is filled in. Lots of folk don't realise how small these are.

    Good profile pose, with the face catching enough of the light coming in from the right. The two dark spots above the subject do pull my eye, and if mine I would likely darken the brightest of the FG rocks at bottom edge. Keep them coming, looking forward to shorebird season over here in a less than a couple of months!

    Hi Chris, love the light in this, good low angle, and the droplet of water between the beak takes this up a few notches. I do like the moss covered pebbles.
