    Chiplun,Maharashtra.
    June 2016.

Just came back from chiplun , had one of the best sightings of my life of ODKF. Saw this beautiful and elegant birds together for ample amount of time in that two days…. This was a shot trip of two days, we did only two sessions and got a bag full of images. We started shooting in afternoon, we saw this pair a lot of times in near by trees but they never come together on their favorite perch…… in the late afternoon they came together for first time on their favorite perch and after that they were not ready to separate and kept coming on the perch and it continue for next 19 times for that day and next one, I clicked around 1500 + images of them together and a 21min of video with my 1dx and 7D Mark ii ……
In my opinion this was a bumper draw sighting for me ….. I am just glad to have made the decision of going to chiplun.

What a beautiful image! I would consider cloning out the 2 streaks just above the second set of leaves on the left, but other than that, all I can say is WOW!

I like the alternating poses, and well done stopping done to maximize the dof on the two individuals. I like it as is but could also see a version with a bit less at bottom. Sounds like you had a great time, looking forward to more!

Beautiful birds, sharp, nice BG, but personally for myself way to much negative space around the birds, since they are the subject matter.

Beautiful frame Ritesh. I like that we see both sides of these little beauties and the colors and details look great. Maybe a bit tighter comp and remove the few rain drops. Well done

Much better!! Perfect comp. The IQ looks like it held up fine also.

I like both versions but probably prefer the first version with some off of the bottom as Daniel suggested. I like the raindrops!
