Early light makes this one Chris and the perch aint bad either !
    Good stuff.
Our "colony" seems to have really declined this year- very few compared to normal.
    Cheers

Hi Chris, lovely light here, and I like the slightly angled pose. Good feather detail/plumage showing up nicely, sharp, and all against a clean BG. Well captured.

Beautiful image Chris. Love the lighting which gives great detail on the bird. All fits nicely with a great looking perch and BG.

    Well done and TFS

This is exactly why I get out to the field early every time I shoot! The killer light that fills the subject with detail and color. The sun was right behind you. Look how well he is covered by the light, from left to right and top to bottom, and look how low the catchlight is in his eyes. Perfect!! Besides a little NR to the BG, this one is fantastic.
