    Default Sydney operahouse vivid 2016

    this my first vivid Vivid happens yearly where they put projections onto sydney landmarks the most of all is the sydney opera house which they project many painting on to it this year it was aboriginal painting
    called songlines it is not easy to get perfect photos due to fast moving images
    1dx EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM 1/5 F4 iso 2500 manual exposure mode

    Hi Derek

    Never been to a Vivid weekend, but it looks like it might be worth a trip across the country.. Nice Image, possibly a little too much FG but no big deal.. I might try increasing the contrast slightly on the mid tones..

    Ah, a very different scene of the Opera house. I actually like it and I think that high shutter speed works really well here. I agree with Don about losing some of the FG and I think it needs a slight CW rotation.

    Beautiful designs cast upon the opera house...did you consider capturing a long exposure to blur the water and make the opera house really pop within the scene? As presented I would crop about half of the foreground water out.

    Wonderful building and image. I love the color in the water but agree that a small crop from the bottom would strengthen this image.
