Chris I am envious! Lovely shot I like the pose and the rock. The colours of the bill and lores are amazing.

    Chris:

Lovely fellow, soft light, interesting perch without being overpowering, pleasant bg.

I could envision several cropping options with this, including a vertical, but very nice as presented.

    Cheers

Gorgeous image, with great color and detail on the bird; nice perch. I could also imagine other crops with perhaps a bit less empty green.

Fantastic image Chris!! Love the feather details and the cliff with the nice character and lichens on it. The green BG really showcases this beautiful eyeas well and I like the stars of down still in the head.
    Very nice

I like the detail, the pose and the gorgeous colours. I really like the talons on show. I'm ok with the crop as it is because that is the direction in which the bird is looking. I could see it with just a little less rock at the bottom. Lovely background.

This a killer portrait!!! Great placement in the frame and LOVE those downy feathers remaining on this fledgling. The rock and green BG finish this image off so nicely.

Very nice! I love the tufts of down on the head and the flared sides. Clear view of the talon. Great perch.
