    There has been a lot of bird activity in the garden, I managed to get a shot of the adult feeding the juvenile, not exactly what I wanted but they just wouldn't park themselves where they should have been. It was raining at the time the image was taken..

    You are right. You need to run some posing classes for the local birds... Is their suet on the menu?

    Jon:

    A difficult shot to pull off because of the dof needed, under low lighting conditions. The back birds head is out of the sharpest area of focus. Rain drops can be a challenge at times. You need a slow enough shutter speed to show some streaking I believe, but then you run the risk of the birds movement inducing blurring.

    The joy of shooting in your backyard, you will get to try it again!

    Hi Jon, lovely capture. I like the interaction between the birds. Maybe just my screen, but it looks like the image needs a wee bit more contrast and lightened up a little.
