Nice look at my favorite Tern, with a good looking fish. This one looks a little scruffy -- I suppose he just came up from a dive. The blacks on the head and bill tip need to be blacker, IMO. Maybe add some black to the neutrals?

    Dear Lorant,

Lovely capture of this tern and his catch, great timing:)

A few tiny tweaks in PS (levels, curves, or just D/B) would take this up a notch, IMO. Unless intended, I feel the hazy look (which is probably due to weather conditions) is somewhat detrimental to this frame, and especially the subject.

Great techs and I like the DOF and POV, comp is spot-on.

I really enjoy your work, I am looking forward to see more

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Well done the low angle sets this off and the fish is a great bonus to this already fine image, agree on increase of the blacks

Everything looks good except for the blacks that look washed out. Did you calibrate your monitor recently, or get a new one? Your last couple of posts have had pale blacks....

BTW, I love the little claws poking up form the sand!

    Thanks for commenting.

Dan, you are right. I changed my monitor...or I shall say I got a monitor for my laptop. I will pay attention to the blacks and re-calibrate the monitor. Thanks again.
