    The Burrowing Owl chicks are growing up rapidly. Now they can fly further away from the nest. This chick landed on a branch very close to me shortly after sunrise.

    What a very special portrait!!! Love the light and all the feather details. Nice to see its pupils dilated. The light must have been low.

    Excellent head shot Loi, you nailed this one! with burrowing owls the symmetric eyes is key and you got them wide open with nice light. BG is nice too

    The eyes really draw you in here! I like the subtle texture within the irises. Nicely done portrait.

    Captivating eyes, wonderful that the light was straight on from the front so both pupils are equal size. Nice portrait, thank you for sharing.

    Fantastic portrait Loi!! This is as good as it gets. The feather details and colors are perfect and the fully lit eyes with the rising sun in them are totally captivating. Great work
