    The sky and the water, and the osprey and its catch are both compelling but the lighting isn't consistent. I'd be inclined to flip the osprey and fish horizontally, add a little yellow where they're sidelit, and maybe brighten the sun a bit.

    A good observation. I will give it a try. The light might look a bit better that way.

    OK -- I can't stand it --- was the fish added? If not, that is one strong bird!!

    I've been watching a couple of osprey nests on artificial platforms and on one there is a large stick jutting out one side. The vineyard manager said to me once -- "See that stick? It's grapestake. WE didn't put it there!"

    Dianne,

    The fish was not added! Ospreys are strong, but I also thought that is was amazing that he could get into the air with it and fly off without too much difficulty...
    I only changed the sky, as the original pic had a bland background.
