    Stuart:

A colorful fellow , soft light gave you wide dynamic range, nice framing element from the branches. Pretty sharp around the eye, but dof of field falls off rapidly in either direction. I suspect the light was relatively low. What were your shooting details? ISO, shutter speed and aperture? A little more room on the left if you have it.

    Cheers

How much I'd like to go to Costa Rica....Nice colorful bird indeed and a nice head turn. I'd also prefer more space where it is looking at and have the bird a little smaller in the frame. Please post the fill exif info. TFS.

Nice colorful image, a bit centered for my taste (needs more on the side it's looking)
The tail is a Bit OOF but not knowing your lighting conditions...

What a cool looking bird and you did well capturing him. The framing looks great and I like the colors and perch. Wish for a bit more DOF for this one though. Well done
