Captured this image of a male Bobolink in a large field the other day using the car as a blind. This birds design is well suited for a profile or a dorsal view. It's tough to get the straw-colored patch and white feathers well in one image. Daniel achieved it beautifully in his recent post of a dorsal view. C&C welcome.

These guys are awesome, I never tire of watching and listening to them. I like the perch this fella sang on, nicely weathered and gnarly looking. Good green BG. Nice profile singing pose. The image is a tad bluish/greenish overall for my tastes - adding a few points of reds in PS Color Balance should help with that. My only other issue is that the subject is a bit small in the frame.

    P.S. Thank you!

Lovely singing pose, and a nice perch. I think Daniel pointed out a color cast correctly. With no subtle detail in the BG to balance the bird, I would crop some from the top and right, and maybe bottom.
