    John:

Great color harmony in this image, tones play very well together. Nice pose, and background,

The head seems a bit sharper than the breast.

For some reason the small brown twig touching the tail bothers me a bit, more so than the bigger green twig intersecting the body. Would be easy to truncate the lower twig a bit.

    Cheers

Lovely image John, of a beautiful bird. Nice details and I love the perch and the pose.

Both good images but the repost is better, bird seems to stand out more.
Typical Stonechat stance on gorse against smooth background.

A great image John. You really make that Sigma shine. Love the color palette and the pose of the bird. Only thing is that in the repost the cloning is not perfect. You can see the spot where you cloned out the branch that was touching the bird. It does not blend in smoothly. There is an obvious semi circle there that could use to be blended better. Same goes for the area just below the tail. The little flower that was touching the bottom of the tail. Same also goes for the spot where the stick touched the lower left side of the tail. The white line that borders the outer tail feather is interrupted by where you cloned out the twig. I would revisit those areas to nice finish off this shot.
