    Image was created in the month of Oct,2015.
    Basic editing. Cropped for composition. Grass stick in front of neck is removed.


    ISO: 800, 1/1000 @5.6. Spot metering. Manual settings.
    Canon 550D, 100-400 mm.

    Cool shot! Very nice lighting and sharp detail, also like the background. I wish he was showing off its plumage more, but we can't force the bird to pose any way we like, it did let you get nice and close and it gave you a great head angle.

    Excellent detail, subtle but effective lighting, nice head angle, shooting angle.

    I might try a version with about 1/3 of the free space above birds head cropped off, but that is strictly personal framing taste.
