A lovely image Gail. Nice pose, and the whites look beautiful. BG fits nicely and I love the 'walking on water'

Lovely pose wonderful exposure and a complimentary background. The water droplets add to the drama.

Here is one instance where I like the shaded face despite the sunny conditions...it adds to the "umbrella" pose. The raised foot and falling drops add a lot of interest. Awesome Desoto colours. I'm wondering if the image would be improved by filling in the faintly "bleeding in" blues along the top?

Hi Gail, well timed to capture the umbrella fishing pose, and overall well exposed on the whites. Nice and sharp, and love the droplets from the feeding behaviour. I like the inclusion of the OOF foliage in the upper BG.

Super light and behavior captured, Gail. Great job portraying the canopy feeding behavior. Would have like to see just a tad more eye contact in a perfect world.

    Gail:
I have always thought that Pinkies are some of the coolest of Florida birds, and miss seeing them. Excellent display of their feeding behavior, well handled whites, drops good.

I understand the eye contact point, but there is enough there for me to make it an effective image.

    Cheers

Hi Gail, I agree with the others this is a great shot showing the canopy style hunting Behavior. The light looks really soft and you have great details in the whites. Nice work getting this one and look forward to more.
