    I captured this portrait of a female Anhinga at Lake Morton, Lakeland, Florida, yesterday morning. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D7000
    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED shot at 400mm (600mm FFE)
    1/1000 F/8 Matrix Metering +1/3 EV ISO 500 AWB, camera supported by a monopod
    Post processed in Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC, smoothed out a couple dark ripples from the lake that was the background
    Cropped for composition and presentation

    You're done this female justice! I like the curve of her neck and your choice in composition. The feather details are so good that I feel as though I am actually looking at the actual bird.

    Hi Joe, lovely pose with the curled neck, and you have really brought out the plumage detail so well. Great eye. I do like the colour of the BG.
