Have not been doing much Avian photography the last year or two but I came across this beautiful Reddish and thought I would share it.

What an amazing specimen!!! Love the vibrant colors and the amazing plumage. My only suggestion would be to take a little off of the top and add to the right.

Flawless image, exposure, detail and background perfect.
Lovely specimen indeed, look at the detail, agree with Marina on crop.

Beautiful portrait with great breeding colors. This species often looks a bit washed out to me, but this is lovely. Agree with some more room on the right.

You really took advantage of the moment with this gorgeous boy in breeding colors.Very nice!
A bit off the top for me as well.
No one has mentioned this, but on my monitor the area on the forehead and cheek look grainy to me. This cannot be a noise issue at ISO 400 so I am not sure what it is that I am seeing?
As I look at this more, I think it may just be the feather texture in that area.
Great complimentary color in the BG.

Lovely portrait of a great subject. It does have a somewhat grainy look on the feathers. Love the colors and BG. A little off the top would work but great as is.

Hi Don, I like the light and IQ in this, and the colours of the eye and bill are amazing. Nice smooth OOF BG, and agree with the 'grainy' area around the face.
