After returning home from my warbler frenzy at Magee Marsh, I checked out a few local preserves for locally breeding species. After hearing this guy in the woods, audio helped to bring him closer. I processed several versions to deal with a distracting background. This one involved a rather extreme blur.

Love the bird, like the background though would suggest a little too smooth. Maybe the darkest area to the left of the eye could have a tad more detail?

The colours on the bird are awesome. I wished it had been further along the perch. I would love to have seen it on a single perch. Great detail and pose.
