Beautiful Jon! I can't comment on color but I love the wing position and the bird's expression. The food and the feet make the image for me. Is that dust bunny at the top center of the frame

Nice flight pose Jon. Good looking detail on the bird.

Pretty neat! I love the near wing, the far wing not so much. What is it eating?

Colour ,detail and sharpness all look good Jon,looks like an odd bit of food it's got.See in the press people are worried about these birds attacking pets and even children.very well caught.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Dan the food is waste meat and bits from a local abattoir, they are subject to the same food regulations as food for human consumption due to DEFRA and other such regulations. I included this image because I think it clearly explains why the kites are attracted to this site (most people in UK will be aware of Gigrin), the kites are fed daily at 2 or 3pm according to season. Literally 100 plus kites appear along with buzzards crows and jackdaws.
I have to admit I am not immensely rewarded the images to be honest it is a bit like shooting fish in a barrel.
