Hi Marc - Nice action. The flying bark and ant adds a lot to the image. I like the comp. Curious if you used a GND filter.

    Hello Marc,

Very cool frame of this leopard female and the flying bark adds to the drama.

    I saw the little insect

Perfect framing and well exposed despite the sun/shade conditions, nice techs indeed, very well captured.

Regarding BG (sky), I personally feel the transition from the deep blue to the cyan is not as smooth as it needs to be, but I am certain you can address this issue in PS.

A very special sighting of this spotted beauty, she is so powerful and athletic and focused. I took great pleasure viewing, many thanks Marc!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

I used a Grad filter selectively on the sky in ACR.

To be honest Rachel, ever since I had my D4 repaired ( my LCD screen got badly smashed, requiring the screen & entire PCB replacement) I have not been happy with the color rendition, giving me a horrible cyan & green cast that required a lot of work to remove, in hindsight I should have taken the ND filter further down to give a smoother blue sky transition. I've since traded my D4 for the impressive D5.

Hi Marc -- Great Leopard behaviour ! I loved the way that Leopard is balancing on the trunk showing its skills and what leopard are known for . The flying piece of bark as well as the falling ant are adding so much to the image . Very nicely composed as well .

    TFS !

    Hi Marc

Love the moment captured with flying bark!
    Good comp.
See some posterisation in BG around leopard's head- maybe the Gradient Filter..
    Regards

    Andre.
