    You had a nice light and a beautiful BG, I like the long stretched tail feathers also. The details look a bit coarse to my eye I think it's your sharpening. Do you have the Post Processing Guide?

    You are certainly on the right way. Nice light, sharpness and good whites and blacks in the exposure. PP work is a big part of it as you can see the top notch images on this forum. Check out Arash's instructions. TFS.

    You captured a very nice pose Ann and I too like the flared tail feathers and the nice colorful BG. Your exposure looks much better and we can see the eye well and details in the black cap. I too notice the details being a bit coarse. How big of a crop is it? Might have been just on the edge for this comp.
    Keep working it. Your getting much better, especially for one of the more challanging IF subjects you can capture.

    Most of the technical bits covered,do like the pose and those fantastic tail plumes.Flying bird very well caught.
