A very interesting bird to me John! It looks like a far-flung cousin of the crested pigeon here in Australia. The detail, eye contact and exposure looks good to me.

Nice to see a bird in its environment, there used to be fields full of them years ago around here, but not anymore.
I like the mud on its beak/ legs and the iridescent green of the wings.
