    This is an image from my Islay trip. I was walking through woods, when I heard the warbler call. I was lucky because he showed himself, from the dense bushes, where I managed to get this one shot, before he flew off.

    I would be happy with this image myself. Not a set up, so not with controlled environment, having a single chance for a shot you have a nice specimen on a suitable perch with a matching BG image filling the frame with good details in the plumage and nice eye contact. Well done.

    Nicely detailed and lighted subject. Good work to get the shot quickly. I wonder if a light lowering of exposure would be good, probably holding the shadows where they are. I might be tempted to trim a little off the left.
