    The snail kite has been giving us post of opportunity the past few days and here is one I got today just as he was leaving the cyprus.

    Nikon D3, Nikon 600mm F4, ISO 400, 1/1250, F7.1, manual exposure.

    All comments are much appreciated.

    Great pose, light and details. I might try to lighten the shadow on the bird's right wing a bit. Thanks for sharing!

    Awesome shot, great wing position and nice details, those talons are intimidating.

    Very nice sharpness and an interesting pose with the feet hanging down. I agree with Axel about trying to lighten the shadow.

    What a pose! Great timing on this Judy. The mentioned shadow looks rather bold. He's got a pretty menacing look here...wouldn't want to be a snail close to him!

    Not much to add Judy. A very solid photo of an intimidating bird! Agree about the shadow.
