Very interesting, Derek! I would consider removing the ghost bridge, lone red light, & flags. I feel it's distracting and make it too obvious that it's a zooming action.

Derek, this is a very creative view of Sydney and I love it! I have been traveling a lot this year and have missed some posts but if this is your first post to OOTB then Welcome I like the ghost bridge and the diagonal light as it is mirrored by the shorter diagonal lines and lights in the right edge. The starbursts add an extra appeal. I might crop out the black tall tree on the left to make the large starburst a little nearer the frame.
I hope to see more of your work here.

V cool. I like how the lines radiate from the bridge. The crop in 2nd version works well. Personally, I like the ghost bridge and the flags of the OP.

Totally love the WOW impact of the radiating lights! I prefer the OP as the sky is lighter and I can see stars, plus the bridge more clearly. Also the colors are brighter. Everyone sees something different when they look at an image. For me I would prefer that the red star on the top of the bridge not have that diagonal red line connecting it to an additional star. It is such a short line it looks more like connecting the dots, and for me detracts from the wonderful symmetry of the radiating lines. I do like the crop of the 2nd image.

And hey, come more often! This is great and let's see more.

When I first looked at this, my thought about the light on top of the bridge was, I think, the same as Nancy's: The star on the bridge is a plus, but I'd rather not have the zoom effect radiating from it. I prefer the colors in the original post, too. This is a very striking image. Thanks for sharing it here.

I love everything in the original post but for the tree. It is fantastic. The repost is too dark and looks muddy.
