I'm exploring the possibilities of Topaz Impression.
In this image, I cloned out little bugs on the petals and used Van Gogh II. Lowered the saturation of greens and opacity. I'm pleased with the results.

Hi, Anita, I like the Van Gogh effect. When I first looked at this I thought you had used the Glass filter. I would remove the two little white dots near the lower right corner and that white triangular shape in the flower on the upper left edge. (and the white spot on the upper edge) I like the diagonal stems and what must have been beautiful bokeh in the background![]()

Great composition with the chive flower repeating as you go back into the frame. I totally love Impression and while playing with the sliders and paintbrushes almost feel like I am working on a painting. Thank goodness I get to use my digital images as the base. My native abilities probably are not even as good as a Chimp with a paintbrush! Anita, the van Gogh was a great choice here. The brush strokes are not overwhelming, but add a great texture. I love the way the van Gogh filter handles circle shapes!
I like the lines, shapes (repeating as Nancy said), and color. The effect you got with Impression is very appealing, too. It's nicely bright and cheery.
