Here is another of my portraits. In the heat of the summer here I am spending time archiving my images finding this one today. I tweaked the post processing today before posting. This bird is truly the spear fisherman of the bird world. The prey is speared through with the closed bill, then the bird surfaces with the fish impaled. Then it has to maneuver the fish off the bill, into the mouth, and turn it headfirst before swallowing it. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.
