another one from vacation. taken on lovers key. these guys are fun, but challenging. MUST have soft light!! sorry i havent posted for a while. doing all my work on a laptop with a 13" monitor. it aint fun:( anyways, PP in CNX. established B&W points, decontrasted a little for a softer feel, added a couple points of warmth, ran noise reduction on BG, sharpened eye, sharpened bird, brightened face area, toned down a hotter spot on the breast of the bird and darkened both bottom corners of the frame.

    comments and critiques appreciated!!

Nice walking pose and details. The whites look slightly gray and I would clone out the dark band at the top. I'm not sure about the piece of wood in the lower left. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Harold Definitely park the wood !!! Agree on the whites being a little gray Do like the pose very much and the up leg sure makes it for me !!!!

btw might take a little from the top to eliminate the dark areas !!!! I like it a lot !!!

is this any better? only cropped the top and increased the contrast. think i may have been counter-productive by trying to decrease the original contrast. thanks for your comments!!! and gus, IT WAS NOT LONG ENOUGH!!!! never is though is it?

The repost is fabulous Harold. I'm also in the 'lose the piece of wood' camp.
