This image was taken last week from a blind on a woodland pond. 40D, 500 f/4 + 1.4X, 1/2000, f/5.6, ISO 400. I cleaned up a number of specks on the water and cropped for composition. Comments are welcome.

Great light, details and head angle. It is a bit tight in the frame for my taste and you could try to clone out the OOF grass in the foreground.

Wonderful image Steve with a great low angle and stunning lighting. I would like to have seen a little more light and detail on the back and tail area. Moving slightily to the right would have help this but still and excellent image with a great pose and eye contact. I would be tempted to remove the dark spot to the right edge of the image. Many thanks for sharing.

I too with for a looser crop. I also wish for an image like this in my collection! Quite nice.

Very nice details and colors. I would give him just a wee bit more room in the tail dept...

Great light, with excellent color and sharpness Steve. I too would like to see a little more room for the duck. Thanks for posting!
