Cropped all around a little bit. There was a distracting tail of the bird on the left, so no more left space.
The light in the early morning hours (about 1.5 hours after sunrise) at this location has a lot of red. I reduced Red in Hue/Sat a wee bit.

Light can in at an angle, but I like the BG at this spot.

Thank you for commenting. Hope you like it.

Another good one from the series Loi, keep them coming.

It's a real shame about the head angle, do you have one either with both eyes in clear view, or with the head more in profile?

The wings out pose is great, and I like the presentation and that low POV works perfectly.

Thank you Mike. Yes I have other frames with head on look, but there is another distracting bird at a lower left corner and I would need to clone that bird out to save the image. You can see its shadow on the left of the frame. Loiside

Another beauty, Loi I find this very appealing and also amusing, I am delighted with your success in capturing those little guys!

Super techs and subject tack sharp. Lovely detail and colours. Fantastic pose from the owl, I too wish the other eye was visible but realise this was beyond your control, you obviously have other frames with various HA.

I like this very much, it is sensibly processed and well presented, a pleasure to view!

    Kind regards,

You are getting some lovely moments from this little family. The low shooting angle allows us to see lots of the bird and the beautiful underwing feathers. Would have liked to have seen both eyes, but then they never co-operate 100%! TFS.

I like this the best of your recent Owl photos. The IQ is really nice and a nice pose.

very nice Loi, I'd clone the band (you can use the other foot as a source). it also needs some chroma NR. Light was nice and the details are sharp too

Thank you everyone for your helpful comments. I'm really turned when it comes to cloning. If there is an image that I would like to hang on my wall, but has a distracting element in it, I have chosen to clone. Otherwise, my question is why bother? It wouldn't be useful for contest anyway. In this case, the band is less distracting than the shadows. So if I were to clone out the band, I would also be tempted to clone out the shadows. Something to think about. Loi
