This black headed gull was having a drink in lake Mjøsa in the town of Hamar Norway

Cropped a bit tight to try and remove part of another bird on the right and a rock beneath the birds perch

Selective sharpening of the subject and cloned out part of the rock and part of another gull on the right

Really like this Shane, captured at exactly the right moment. I like the diagonal that the bird makes which is repeated by the rock. Sharp with very good detail in the whites and a super background. TFS.

Nice drinking post and drops. Love the perfect EXP and SH and the low angle. The bird's head is angled ever so slightly away from us... a

I love the pose, perch, water drop, and low angle. Good job on the exposure and nice details. I can't help but feel the image may need a tiny bit of CCW rotation (or at least the illusion of needing so).

The sharpness and IQ is impressive. I have not seen many images with the 200-500 lens. It looks good.

Thanks Dan! I am extremely happy with this lens. Very sharp even wide open

AF could be a slight bit faster but it is a zoom lens after all
