    Resdstart (Male)
Searched 30 nestboxes around the farm, m orchards and woodland- not a single Redstart. Cutting the grass in the garden yesterday and a redstart flew over me and into the one box I dsdidnt ceck ! In the middle of the garden in a box on the chicken shed. She has 4 eggs and two young so they must have been there two weeks and we never heard or saw a thing.

What a fine capture of this great looking bird, John. His colors stand out so well against that beautiful BG. The super sharpness keeps me looking at the individual feather details. Like the perch with a few patches of lichen. Great story too.

Nice image, IQ on the bird is great. Good pose aswell. I would run just a bit of noise reduction to the BG.

Great detail again John, they are fabulous birds. Like the background, the perch and the pose shows off the rusty tail.
Got your message will get back with day.

Another super small bird image John. Have never seen one of these so thanks for showing. Lovely feather detail and good pose. I like the mottled green background.

Get up here and sit in the garden with a Boddingtons and watch them all day !!
Just been knocking some dahlia stakes in about 10 minutes ago and the male came and sat on a spade handle pllaying up at me like mad ! Nearly dark too.
