I was at Circle B Bar Reserve on Monday morning. I was walking along the gravel trail, on my right was a Great Blue Heron slowly moving along the shoreline of the marsh. It raised it's head to check me out, as the head cleared the tall grass I captured this image. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Hi Joseph,
Nice selective focus - the sharpness of the bird draws my eye to the subject and somewhat away from the grass. Nice that the grass does not intersect the bird's beak or head. I find the red blob at the base of the neck a bit distracting - may want to see how it looks with that cloned out.

Here is a edit with the blue less saturated, not sure what happened but after your comments I went back and sure enough the blue saturation was raised. Not sure why, maybe going the wrong way with the slider in post.
