Really nice look back pose from this lovely bird John, I like this one from the pool. It just looks a little underexposed to me, so I tried a little compensation, then desaturated the twig in the upper left which kept catching my eye.

Hi John, lovely angled pose, and although your exposure is there on both the blacks and whites, I like Mike's version.

Beautiful bird, lovely setting. Your pond certainly has been good to you. Thank you for sharing, John.

Very nice image I like the composition. This is a very nice mini "studio" and the overall effect is very pleasing and natural looking.

    Thanks guys.
Jon - yes it is a natuiral looking pool or more like a puddle, which is in fact more or less natural. I was a young man when I first started using it !
Mike- The subtle exposure boost has improved it but I can't find the twig you refer to?
    Cheers

Wonderful image, John. Love the eye contact, and as always your great pools/puddles.
