Great shot! Nice action, nice exposure with the lights and darks coming out good, nice background, sharp

Mike I am off to Bempton in July - boat in the morning cliffs in the afternoon and if I get such a beautiful image and such quality I will be mighty pleased. I think the colours are as near perfect as you could hope for and the fast shutter speed has rendered great detail. Well done I think it is technically outstanding - just look at the detail in that plumage....and the pose ain't too bad either

You nailed this one! A typical high wind gannet pose with excellent details and a cracking BG to go with it

    Exposure is spot on too

    Good one Mike
All been said already. Great exposure and detail.
Will be up there myself shortly and if I get something near this I'll be happy.

Hi Mike, a Gannet in flight pose we rarely see posted, so very well done on nailing this shot. I quite like the semi folded wings, overall well exposed, and your fast ss had given you a very sharp Gannet. Well captured.

Wow! This is really good. Exposure, pose and focus all spot on. Wonderful detail on the head beak and eye, in fact wonderful detail all over. Great work.

Terrific flight shot Mike, I love the angle and the sense of movement within the frame.

    Well done
