Nice to get both birds in focus. I love the eyes on these little ducks. Nice colouring on the drakes head. It would have been nice if they had been facing each other but they never do what you would like them to do! Looks like an overcast day.

Top marks for getting them both sharp - not an easy task at all. Nice details in the males head, and the look he's getting from the female reminds me of a certain 'look' I get from my wife from time to time...

Really like the low perspective, and the calm surrounding water with the reflections on it.
The birds themselves are very nice, with great detail, tonality and colours - certainly not easy to get all that dynamic range into the shot, especially with the feathers of the male ranging from almost black to bright white.

    Thank you for sharing!

    Regards,

    Robert

Will, sweet low perspective and the drakes head color really draws your eye to him, nice.

Hi Will, what a perfect illustration to show up the colours of the male and female. Great HA's from both, good DOF on both, and just love how the male's colour pops from the lighter BG. Comp wise, I would maybe take a bit off the bottom.
