    Nice pose and eye contact. I would prefer a lower angle and would lighten the head a bit. It also needs more space for the 'virtual feet'. Why did you desaturate the image?

    It is B&W because the bird has no color, Gray black head, white and black feathers and legs are dark except for pink feet which are lost in the water. Bird was very close and background was not beneficial to the image. Angle produced the glistening water with the streaks you see without much color. Camera going back to Canon for repair tomorrow!!!
